Fall in Michigan, is there a more perfect backdrop for senior pictures?!

Kate did her senior pictures in late October, during the peak fall colors! We started off at a stunning woodsy location in Oakland County and then we went to a local farm for some photos of her and her gorgeous horse, Gus! The sun was shining so beautifully for us so we were able to get glowy, colorful photos to really capture the true beauty of the fall leaves! The sun peaked through the row of pine trees perfectly and created a breathtaking golden haze in the field. The sun lit up her golden brown eyes so beautifully too. Kate is gorgeous!

All of Kate’s outfits were SOOO perfect!! She added the personal stylist onto her session so all of her outfits were hand picked just for her. Her outfits fit her location and style SO flawlessly!! The personal stylist makes preparing for your session a million times easier because you don’t even have to think about going shopping or putting your own outfits together! I 10/10 recommend the personal stylist!!

I also LOVE that Kate wanted to include her horse in her photos. It’s so important to me to make sure that senior photos truly represent who the senior is and to include what they love. Senior photos are looked back on for years and years, so they should rightfully capture who the senior is in that moment of time. Including pets in senior photos is always SO much fun!! Sometimes it takes a little bit of extra time, but it’s always so worth it! I always encourage seniors to bring their pets along and I always give tips on how to make the session run smoother with their pet! I mean, imagine having gorgeous photos of you and your pet hanging on the walls in your home?! Allllllll of the heart eyes!!
