Gracie - Nature and Urban Senior Pictures
GRACIE’S SEnior session in beautiful nature, on the beach, and downtown
Wow! Gracie’s senior pictures included alllllllll of the beautiful locations!! Gracie and her Mom traveled to the west side of Michigan for her session and we lucked out with a gorgeous July day! I got to do Gracie’s sister’s senior photos last year so it was extra special to meet Gracie and get to do hers!
We started off at this adorable red barn and moved all around it, then we took some photos with a pretty bouquet that she got for her photos! It added such a fun element to her pictures and she even had a second one later on! Gracie changed into her second outfit, the cutest denim overalls, and we grabbed some photos in a wildflower field! Gracie plays basketball so she wanted to do a couple of photos to include that and I love that she did! It’s so fun to include your sports/hobbies in your photos to look back on! We then headed to our last nature spot which was another field of flowers! I love how there’s so many different types of wildflower fields, they’re all uniquely beautiful! Her long white dress complemented the scenery perfectly.
Gracie’s second location was the beach and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Some clouds rolled in that made the sky a hot pink and orange! They only stayed for a little bit, which is what is fun about the beach! The sky is always changing and you never know what Lake Michigan is going to give you! We ended up getting a bright orange sunset which made for a stunning golden hour! I also loved how flowy Gracie’s blue dress was- we got some amazing movement from it which always makes for such great photos!
I got to see Gracie and her Mom again in the fall and she decided to do photos downtown and I’m so glad she did! The urban photos are so different than her nature and beach photos, it gives her session so much variety! I couldn’t get over her tall black boots and oversized blazer outfit!! It was so perfect for all of the brick locations! Her long yellow dress reminded me of Andie Anderson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and I loooved it! It went so well with the gazebo, bridge, and grey brick! Gracie’s style is so great and we had another beautiful day together!
We had such a wonderful time during both Gracie’s summer and fall senior sessions! Her family is so incredible and Gracie is absolutely stunning and so, so kind. I know she is going to do amazing things!
