Mia - Flower Fields, the Beach, and Fall Senior Session
Mia’s summer + fall senior session
Mia’s mid-August senior session was absolutely perfect for the flower field of our dreams and some great waves on Lake Michigan! We arrived at a gorgeous flower field in west Michigan and surprisingly, we were both so chilly that we had goosebumps! That soon changed to us sweating in the more typical August heat. We wandered through all of the different kinds of sunflowers, stopping along the way for photos. The variety of flowers was incredible! Then Mia had an outfit change and we headed to a different flower area and I just LOVE the barn in the background of some of those photos! We finished up by heading inside of the barn for some cool photos in there! I love that the spotlight is just on Mia in those photos. It was the perfect location for her adorable outfits and her sunshine personality!!
After the flower field we drove to the beach! Lake Michigan gave us one of the windiest sessions of the summer, which made for great waves! It was so windy that we had to get creative to not have hair blowing in Mia’s face the entire time and you’d never know! Mia 110% rocked the windblown look and it was so stunning! I love how the photos with her hair blowing in the wind! Because it was so windy it got cold again and we were both shivering, but Mia was still game to get into the water a little and sit on the shoreline (yay)! We were rewarded with an absolutely beautiful sunset and it was breathtaking with Mia’s long, white dress. Her summer session was so lovely!
We met up again in the October for Mia’s fall session and wow, the colors were perfect! Mia brought her precious dog, Paisley, for her fall photos and I’m obsessed with every photo that Paisley is in! Talk about a cute dog!! I’m so happy that Paisley got to tag along! There was a small field of tiny white flowers at our location too so we used it for when the sun was setting and I love how golden and serene the photos are. The setting paired so well with Mia’s outfit! It was so wonderful to get to hangout with Mia during both the summer and fall, she is truly such a natural, so beautiful, and so much fun!
